Coffee egg, a significant drink only be served in Vietnam, especially in Hanoi – an ancient town beside Red River.
This coffee egg was first invented in 1946 by Nguyen Van Giang. He used to be a chef in Metropole Hotel Hanoi and used to make lots of expensive cappuccino cups with imported coffee, cream cheese and milk scum. Meanwhile, Vietnam has wonderful fresh egg, he started to think if it possible to make a drink with these eggs and coffee.
With his curious, in 1946, he made a kind of coffee with fresh egg foam successfully and start to serve it at his café on 39 Nguyen Huu Huan street.
