Make your own way from your hotel to Hanoi railways station. Take the overnight train to Lao Cai. Spend your night in a 4-berth A/C cabin, soft sleeper.
Day 1: Lao Cai – Sa Pa – Suoi Ho – Ma Tra – Ta Phin (B/L)
-The train arrives at Lao Cai Station approx at 05h30. You will be welcomed by our local guide and transferred to Sa Pa for breakfast. After breakfast, you will be free to explore the town by yourself.
Locating just a bout 5km southeast of Sapa town, Ma Tra valley attracts visitors for its stunning scenery highlighted with impressive terraced rice fields. The Hmong peoples has changed from sifting lifestyle into sedentary one form early 20th Century and built terraced field to ensure their permanent earning by farming wet rice.
-Trip commences from Sapa at 08.30am or 01.30pm by a 5km road transfer out of Sapa town. Then walk starts from here downhill and cross the stream to the other bank where Suoi Ho village beautifully sits on the top of a low hill. Spend half an hour to visit several local homes for understanding of local life before continue walking along a large path on hillsides which is paved with rock to get through Ma Tra village. This portion of the walk offers beautiful scenery of the valley and terraced paddies as well as flower farm. Walk through for 2 hours through several hamlets of the Hmong scattering on hill-sides. Continue gradually downhill 1 hour to Ta Phin village which is home to Red Dzao people. Then picked up and transfer by road 12km back to Sapa.
Night 2: Overnight in Sa Pa.
Trekking distance: 10km – 6 hours ~ Mix of dirty trails, off road and pave road at the end

Car support: 15km/Drop off at Suoi Ho and pick up at Ta Phin
Day 2: Sa Pa – Sa Seng – Hau Thao – Ta Van village (B/L/D)
-After breakfast, car picks up to the path leading to Sa Seng Village where you will start trekking route along the off-beaten trails thru cardamom forest. From the top of the forest, you will observe the overview of Sa Pa town, cloudy karst mountains as well as Muong Hoa Valley. Muong Hoa Vally is home of many different hill tribe people including H’mong, Dzay, Dzao and Tay. Keep your camera ready for photo shoot of local people daily, especially amazing rice terraces. Trek down Hau Thao to Ta Van village. Steep hill is challenging your feet.
-Nestle a night at homestay in Ta Van village or hotel in Sa Pa (surcharge for car and accommodation upgrade applied)
Night 3: Overnight in Ta Van homestay
Trekking distance: 12km – 7 hours ~ Mix of tarmac road, off dirty road and steep at the end
Level: Hard
Car support: 3km/Drop off at Sa Seng
Day 3: Ta Van Villages – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sa Pa Lao Cai – Hanoi (B/L)
Leave Ta Van after breakfast for Giang Ta Chai, following a narrow trail which runs amongst terraced fields for nearly an hour and then gets through thick bamboo forest, passing a waterfall before arriving to Giang Ta Chai Village of the Red Zao. Explore this quiet village for half an hour, then following the trail to the bottom of the valley, crossing the Muong Hoa River again to other bank, walking uphill to Hoa Su Pan Village. Walk ends up as
