7:00AM We will go from HCMC to Tay Ninh Province, which is a region close to the Vietnamese-Cambodian border, and then travel about 11 km northeast of Tay Ninh to see the Black Lady Mountain. Take a cable car to the highest point of Black Lady Mountain, the tallest mountain in South Vietnam, to appreciate the scenery and discover how Vietnamese people revere a black woman statue that originated from a different ethnic group in the region of Ancient South East Asia. In order to satisfy your interest in our culture and religion, we will undoubtedly provide a useful story-telling guide.
Head to the Holy Temple of Cao Dai. This temple has elaborate dwellings, offices for administration, homes for officials and adepts, as well as a traditional Vietnamese herbal medicine hospital that receives patients from all over the south for treatment. The Cao Dai sects, which include Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity, have their headquarters in the temple. There are scarcely recognizable portraits of six prominent Cao Daism personalities up near the altar.
